David Inns | Chief Executive Officer

David Inns is CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of GreatCall Inc., the leader in connected health solutions for active aging. Since its inception in 2006, GreatCall has developed a complete portfolio of products and services that help enable independent aging, including: telehealth services, medication adherence programs, emergency response, fall detection and activity monitoring. GreatCall’s commitment to simplicity and best-in-class service helps the older consumer adopt and enjoy connected health solutions while keeping caregivers up-to-date on their own smartphones with the GreatCall Link app. Under David’s leadership, GreatCall has grown from a startup in 2006 to a company with hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue and over 1,000 employees. David is also an Executive Board member of the Consumer Technology Association. He was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 nationally in the Services category.

Before joining GreatCall, David was Vice President, Consumer Markets for Bell Mobility in Canada where he ran the $1.6 billion consumer market P&L. He was also Vice President, Consumer Marketing for Bell Canada where he ran the $4 billion wireline P&L. David was a Partner at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, which was bought by PWC in 2010 for $378 million.

Brian Berning | Chief Financial Officer

Brian Berning is the Chief Financial Officer at GreatCall, Inc., the leader in empowering aging consumers and their family caregivers to stay connected, protected and in control of their lives. Brian joined the company to lead its financial strategy and management as well as operations and logistics. Prior to joining GreatCall, he was Chief Financial Officer for Human Longevity, Inc., where he worked with the founders to form the company, raise investment funding and establish global operations. Brian previously was Senior Vice President – Finance for LPL Financial and Associate Vice President for Capstone Advisors, Inc. He began his career with Ernst & Young, LLP where he earned his CPA. He holds a Masters in Accounting from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.

Bill Yates | Chief Marketing Officer

Bill Yates is the Chief Marketing Officer of GreatCall, Inc, the leader in empowering aging consumers and their family caregivers to stay connected, protected and in control of their lives. Bill joined GreatCall in 2007, and has been the driving force behind the company’s vision, successfully transitioning the venture capital-funded startup into a leader in mobile health and safety. Bill has led the sales & marketing team in building a strong product portfolio, including: Jitterbug, 5Star and a suite of health, safety and medical apps, including Urgent Care, GreatCall Link, MedCoach and 5Star. Prior to joining GreatCall, he served as director of marketing for Bell Mobility, one of Canada’s largest wireless carriers. Bill holds an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Lynn Kantor Herrick | General Counsel, Chief Human Resources Officer and Corporate Secretary

Lynn Kantor Herrick, Esq., is the general counsel, Chief Human Resources Officer and corporate secretary of GreatCall,Inc., the leader in empowering aging consumers and their family caregivers to stay connected, protected and in control of their lives. Lynn joined GreatCall in 2009, providing strategic leadership, legal direction and commitment to employee engagement. With more than fifteen years of success serving as general counsel of innovative, privately held companies and working at large law firms, she has experience in employment, intellectual property and general corporate leadership. Lynn is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and serves as the Director of Operations for the Arsenal FC-San Diego Futbol Club and as a member of the Intercare Advisory Council. She graduated from Indiana University School of Law, magna cum laude, and the University of Michigan, with honors, with a Bachelors of Political Science, and is admitted to the bars of Indiana and California (as in-house counsel).

Jeffrey Polizzotto | Vice President, Connected Health

Jeff Polizzotto is the vice president, Connected Health at GreatCall, Inc., the leader in empowering aging consumers and their family caregivers to stay connected, protected and in control of their lives. Jeff joined the company to develop and drive B2B sales activities outside the consumer retail environment, with a focus on independent/assisted senior living, healthcare providers, home health and a range of payor and Accountable Care Organizations. Prior to joining GreatCall, he was Executive Director for GE Healthcare (GEHC), where he worked with healthcare executive leadership at several large healthcare systems to build partnerships while leading GEHC account teams across 20+ diverse GEHC businesses. Prior to GE Healthcare, Jeff had a 16 year global career with Hewlett-Packard in a variety of leadership positions in Sales, Business Development and Marketing in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. He holds an MBA in Marketing, International Business and Finance from Indiana University and a Bachelors degree in Finance from Indiana University.

Dean Williams | Vice President, Technology

Dean Williams is the vice president, technology of GreatCall, Inc, the leader in empowering aging consumers and their family caregivers to stay connected, protected and in control of their lives. Dean joined the company in 2005 to launch the Jitterbug business. Since that time, he has led technology teams in developing Jitterbug, 5Star and a suite of health, safety and medical apps, including Urgent Care, GreatCall Link, MedCoach and 5Star. Prior to joining GreatCall, he worked in software development and product management for a number of early stage and established technology companies. Dean holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego.

Bryan Adams | Vice President, Data Science & Commercial Product

Bryan Adams is the Vice President of Data Science and Commercial Product at GreatCall, Inc., the leader in connected health for active aging. Bryan joined the company in December of 2016 as a part of the Healthsense acquisition. Bryan leads a cross-functional team that addresses two related areas. The first is the company’s broad data science initiative: leveraging the company’s sizable data set to improve the experience for both internal and external customers. The second is the commercial product: ensuring that the GreatCall offering in the healthcare space both leverages the company’s data science department and also meets the broader needs of the market. Prior to GreatCall, Bryan was the CTO at Healthsense for almost 5 years, where he led the engineering, IT, product management, customer service, and clinical service teams. Prior to that, he was the CTO and founder of a startup in the mobile advertising space, and prior to that he was a Principal Investigator at iRobot, helping them start a healthcare group. He holds a BS, MEng, and PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Krijn van der Raadt | Vice President, Engineering & Consumer Product

Krijn van der Raadt is the vice president of IT and software development at GreatCall, Inc., the leader in empowering aging consumers and their family caregivers to stay connected, protected and in control of their lives. In this role Krijn leads a dedicated team of engineers, as well as the company’s lean product innovation and strategic planning processes. He was previously the company’s director of IT development, leading the systems development team in developing the Jitterbug, the 5Star, and a suite of health, safety and medical apps, including Urgent Care, GreatCall Link, MedCoach and 5Star. Prior to joining GreatCall, he worked as a software developer at a startup in San Diego, and was a research scholar at the San Diego Supercomputer Center at University of California, San Diego. Before moving to the United States, Krijn was a forensic IT consultant at the leading IT Security firm in the Netherlands, and a software development team lead at a boutique e-commerce development shop. He holds a BSc in electronics engineering from Hogeschool van Amsterdam and an MSc in computer science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Abe Bui | Vice President, Customer Experience

Abe Bui is the Vice President, Customer Experience at GreatCall, Inc., the leader in connected health for active aging. Abe joined the company in 2006 to lead in the formation of the customer service teams supporting the Jitterbug business. Since that time, he has focused on balancing the Company’s strategic service objectives with his responsibility for delivering an exceptional customer experience. In 2012, the Company was recognized and awarded for its Customer Service Leadership by Frost & Sullivan. Prior to joining GreatCall, Abe spent his career serving in the customer service industry. A passionate customer service leader, Abe currently sits on Technical Advisory Board for Aira, a San Diego company focused on bringing independence and self-assurance into the lives of the visually impaired.
