Daughters, think about the things you want to say. If your mom is still living make her remaining days as happy as you can. A telephone call, a hug, lunch, whatever will make her happy. Don't forget Dad. My folks were joined at the hip.
Although I am an only child each of my children (3) are special to me.
I am fortunate that I have a super husband who has always made me feel special. I might add that both my parents loved and treated him as if he was their SON.
My mom, Clara Kennebrew, was a wonderful person. She was very giving and would assist anyone who requested her help.
I should have told her before she died how very much I loved her. I assumed she knew it and I never said the words. Hopefully she just knew it. She would sacrifice whatever to make my life comfortable. If I made a mistake, which I did, she did not keep bringing the mistake up for discussion.
She passed away in 1993. I miss her as if she just died. I trusted and confided in her at the drop of a hat. A kinder person never lived.
She and my dad were a lot alike. I miss them so much. NO ONE could ever take their place in my heart. I do have great children and a wonderful husband, but nothing beats a mother's love.
