blog-ncmec-dayMay 25th marks National Missing Children’s Day and is a day that NCMEC observes to teach America’s families how to keep their children safe.

NCMEC urges parents to take 25 minutes to talk to their children about safety using their top safety tips as part of a Take 25 national safety campaign.

We are honored to be a corporate partner of NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children). Every year in America, an average of 800,000 children are reported missing, which estimates to over 2,000 children a day. As part of our partnership with NCMEC and John Walsh, we are honored to help support a cause that aids in efforts to protect America’s children.

Along with donating money to the cause, our company participates in numerous charity events, including the sponsorship of NCMEC’s annual Hope Awards Benefit, Congressional Breakfast in Washington D.C. and supporting Canon’s annual classic fundraiser and celebrity golf tournament. In addition, we raise funds for child recovery programs by donating $1 for each 5Star purchased.
