On the main menu screen you can quickly get to anything you might want to do: Call a live registered nurse by either tapping on the image of the nurse or Call your nurse?, look up a number of health related symptoms affecting you, change your doctor contacts and account settings. When you call LiveNurse, you’re instantly connected to a live registered nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Speak to an experienced nurse in English or Spanish, anytime, day or night – no appointments necessary.
Beyond having access to a live registered nurse by day or night, the LiveNurse app enables you to search your health related symptoms by keywords, body area and by alphabet. You can even search what you’ve entered in the past, so you have a recorded history of your searches. Enter in any type of symptom from headaches to leg injuries using keyword search, and the look up feature will pull up a list of symptoms, warnings, tests, prevention and results. The LiveNurse App provides immediate convenient access to a wealth of medical information to address any health concerns when it arises.
The LiveNurse app has an in-app built-in feature that allows you to search your symptoms. Enter in your medical symptom condition and the app will pull up a list of related symptoms. You can narrow down your symptom as it relates to your specific condition. Tap on your specific symptom and it will provide the definition of the symptom, alternative names, causes, incidence, and risk factors. It will also identify signs, tests, treatment, support groups, prognosis, complications and tips for prevention.
You can search your symptoms by body area using the fun and interactive avatar. The left blue circular icon enables you to change your avatar from a Man to a Woman, or a boy child to a girl child. And the right blue circular icon enables you to have your avatar turn around to profile your back. Whether you have symptoms on the front of your body, on your back or whether you’re a child or woman, the search by body area allows you to customize your specific conditions that relate to you.

Just Shake For Help.™ The LiveNurse app is equipped with an abundance of information related to the app, so if you are unsure about how a feature works, or you’re unclear of how to properly utilize a feature, simply shake the device and a help bubble related to your topic will appear. Additionally, you can press and hold many icons and buttons and you will receive a custom help bubble.
Have your doctor contact information handy when you talk to a live registered nurse. Change your settings by adding and updating doctor and people contacts from the app. Add as many contacts as you’d like and stay connected to your physicians, friends and family at your fingertips.
