5Star Agents are trained to provide assistance for a wide variety of personal safety and security situations, and only you can decide when it’s time to call for help. 5Star is designed for anyone who feels their safety is being compromised or threatened, or could use some professional help in determining the appropriate course of action, especially if they’re not sure if they should call 9-1-1. Maybe you’re walking alone at night and suddenly you get the feeling that you’re being followed. It could be your child who calls 5Star, because he or she is lost or feels unsafe at school. There may also come a time when you or your parents need immediate medical attention. No matter what the situation, 5Star is standing by 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ready to respond.

The following are just some of the many situations where you or your family might use 5Star:

Prepared for anything, with no visible signs of danger.

"I forgot where I was supposed to meet my mom."

• Your child is on a field trip and can’t find the group
• You’re authorized and want to be able to locate a family member at anytime
• You can’t always be there for your parents
• You don’t want to be a burden or rely on family members for assistance

A dangerous situation, but no obvious signs of threat.

"My car won’t start and I don’t feel safe in this neighborhood."

• Your child arrives home and notices a stranger parked in the driveway
• In the middle of the night, you hear strange noises outside your house
• Your parents have a history of health or medical issues
• You’re travelling in a new city and become lost or disoriented

Something is about to happen and likely will if you don’t act.

"I just got home. I think someone’s in my house."

• Your mom is in a dark parking lot, her car won’t start and a stranger is approaching
• Your young son is being physically threatened by a bully at school
• Your daughter is walking outside after dark and someone begins to follow her
• You just got home and you think someone may be in your house

Urgent action must be taken immediately.

"Can you send an ambulance?"

• Your child has medical issues or allergies that may require urgent response
• Your elderly father feels pain in his chest, a strange tingling sensation or he’s having trouble breathing
• You’re having a strange reaction to food, medication, or an insect bite
• You witness an accident and someone may need medical attention
